Nvidia RTX 3090

Nvidia RTX 3090 is the most powerful consumer-grade GPU from Nvidia. Nvidia is calling it BFGPU or Big Ferocious GPU. This “giant Ampere” is aimed at extreme gaming and high-end workstations. The RTX 3090 is essentially the RTX Titan for the consumer market.

RTX 3090 comes with a whopping 24GB GDDR6X memory across a 384-bit interface. The memory is clocked at 19.5 Gbps resulting in 936 GB/s of maximum bandwidth. It has 10496 CUDA cores which are more than 2x of last-gen highest-end consumer GPU 2080 Ti. This model features a triple-slot cooler with a new dual-axial airflow design that positions one fan on the front and another on the rear, which the company says makes it 10x quieter and up to 30 degrees C cooler than current designs.

RTX 3090 has a base clock of 1.4 GHz and a boost clock of 1.7 GHz. According to Nvidia RTX 3090 is capable of running games at 8K with RTX on. It comes with the latest HDMI 2.1 ports, PCIe 4.0 interface.

The RTX 3090 is priced at $1,499 in the US. While in India it will cost you Rs 1,52,000. it will be available starting from September 24th.

Nvidia RTX 3080

RTX 3080 is the new flagship as Nvidia is calling it. It is a more consumer-focused card that will be replacing RTX 2080 in terms of price point. But performance-wise Nvidia claims that it is twice as fast as the RTX 2080. It has 10GB GDDR6X memory across a 320-bit bus which will offer maximum bandwidth of 760 GB/s.

RTX 3080 has a base clock of 1.44 GHz and a boost clock of 1.71 GHz. It has 8704 Cuda cores. The card offers a maximum FP32 performance of 29.7 TFLOPs.

RTX 3080 will cost you $699 in the US. The Indian price is set at Rs. 71,000. The RTX 3080 will be available from September 17th.

RTX 3070 Specification

RTX 3070 is the most affordable one among the three. RTX 3070 is 60% faster than the RTX 2070. Nvidia claims that it even faster than the RTX 2080 Ti. RTX 3070 has 8 GB GDDR6 memory across a 256-bit bus giving it a maximum bandwidth of 441 GB/s.

RTX 3070 vs last gen performance

RTX 3070 has a base clock of 1.50 GHz and a boost clock of 1.73 GHz. It has 5888 Cuda cores. The card offers maximum FP32 performance of 20.4 TFLOPs.

RTX 3070 will cost you $499 in the US. The Indian price is set at Rs. 51,000. The RTX 3080 will be available from October.
